Funeral services for Bevelyn Durham McCommons, 70, of Union Point were held Saturday, November 19, 2005, at the First Baptist Church, Union Point, with Rev. Leonard Ezell, Rev. Jim Olds, and Patrick Tice officiating. Interment was in Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery. She died suddenly on Wednesday, November 16.

Mrs. McCommons was a native of Taliaferro County and was the daughter of the late Carson Gordon Durham and the late Lottie Lenora Lunsford Durham. She was the widow of Robert S. ?Bobby? McCommons.
