I am fairly sure that this is the John Durham who married Matilda Reynolds on October 21, 1810, in Clarke County, Georgia. John was deceased before July 4, 1814, in Clarke County, Georgia. Matilda was the Administix (the word Terri could not read) of John's estate along with Greensby Reynolds as suriety. Matilda Durham was mentioned in the will of her father-in-law [Abraham Durham] in Clarke County, Georgia, written in 1825, probated in 1826 as if she has not remarried. Does anybody have a marriage for Matilda Durham or Reynolds to a Boon???

John Durham above was a brother to my Samuel Durham who married Patsy Reynolds in Oglethorpe County, Georgia, in 1801. Abraham Durham was originally from St. Paul's Parish Hanover County, Virginia, was in Wilkes County, Georgia, by early1787, cut into Oglethorpe County when it was formed in 1793 and then moved over to Clarke County about 1811 or so.

Passed down information has John b. 25 Nov 1787 probably in Wilkes County, Georgia. I think without much information available that Abraham Durham's ancestor was probably the James Durham with 100 acres of land in New Kent County, Virginia on the 1704 Quit Rent Rolls. Both Hanover and New Kent are "burned" Virginia Counties.

John DURHAM and Matilda REYNOLDS were married on 21 Oct 1810 in Georgia.² Matilda REYNOLDS (daughter of Spencer REYNOLDS and Phoebe WAGGENER) was born about 1795 in Clarke County, Georgia.² John DURHAM and Matilda REYNOLDS had the following children:
