GUY ROSCOE7 DURHAM (ASAHEL GLEN6, SION WHELAS5, ASAHEL4, JAMES LINDSEY3, GEORGE2, THOMAS1) was born July 27, 1882, and died March 27, 1911 in Spearsville, KS. He married (1) ELSIE LILLIAN BLACKARD April 01, 1903. She was born March 08, 1888, and died January 03, 1909. He married (2) CLYDE MANLEY 1910. She died Abt. 1981 in Sherman, TX.

Notes for GUY ROSCOE DURHAM:
I believe Guy, his father, his two wives and daughter Juanita Mintora are all buried at Palestine 2 Cemetery at Omaha, Illinois. I have photos of the grave site.

This is the point at which diabetes enters this family and it was the cause of death of Guy, apparently of Juanita Mintora, and one of the children of Galva Roderic. I do not know of other instances, but Galva Roderic insisted there was a strong strain. His theory was it came from Fannie Green, Guy's mother. She was rumored to be Cherokee, likely was. I found, and lost, a story about a family named Wright or Campbell who took in refugees from the Cherokee Trail of Tears. If this were my more direct line, I would research it more seriously.
