Hi Byron: Found the data! It's not much but as I have found out, a little is
better than nothing.
First of all, I don't know about the "George" Frank as I always knew
him as Frank.
Another researcher has him listed as Frank "John". In the 1930 census
of Roberson
in Wise Co, VA I found the names of the following kids:
Cecil, b. 1 May 1916 Letcher Co, KY d. Aug 1980 Kingsport, TN
Virgil b. 28 Oct 1917 Letcher Co, KY d. 26 Apr 1952 Korea
Claude: b. 21 Mar 1920 Letcher Co, KY d. 26 Feb 2002 Kingsport, TN buried in
Oak Hill Cem. Kingsport, TN
Marcella b. 27 Jun 1923 Letcher Co, KY d. before my husband did (I think) I didn't
know her
Dennis Denver b. 22 Feb 1926 Letcher Co, KY d. 14 Feb 2006 Kingsport, TN
Hubert E b. 17 May 1928 Letcher Co, KY d. 6 Apr 1970 Tampa, FL buried in
Greater Tampa Showmen's Cem. Tampa, Hillsborough Co, FL
All births were found in the KY births 1911-1999.
Deaths were found in the Social Security Death Index
Cecil was married to a Reba ? b. 22 Feb 1920 d. July 1978 Kingsport, TN
They had 2 kids, Brenda & Greg. Greg was born Feb 1953 and still lives in
Kingsport
don't know anything else aboiut Brenda
Claude was married to Mary Lou ? who at the last I heard was still living Kingsport
They had many kids, Ann, Sheila, Mike (I think), Jerry, Jimmy, Randy & Billy
Bo.
Don't know about any of them anymore. Also had a son, Tommy who died a year or
2 after Hubert died, on his motorcycle. I think he came between Jerry & Randy.
I
took care of the kids when Mary Lou had Billy Bo. They were a handful.
Marcella was married to a McKinney (I think his name was) and lived Louisiana
Denver was married to Nancy C ? b. 10 Jun 1926 d. 28 Nov 2004 Kingsport, TN
They had one daughter Joy Durham-Brewer who lives in kingsport
Hubert (affectionately known as Herb) & I hadn't any children. We were married
29 Sept. 1961 in Alabama. My maiden name was Cranick and you can find our
marriage in the Alabama marriage index.
There are 2 more boys, twins, Clyde & Carl. They stayed with Claude after
their
mother died, they were about 7 Herb told me. Clyde lived in Cocoa Beach, FL and
was married to Laura ? Carl, (the last I knew) lived in KY just below Cincinnati.
He was married and both boys had kids, don't know how many or the gender.
I think they were b. about Jun 1935
It seems to me I found marriages in the TN marriage index but I can't be certain.
It was so long ago when I did this and just have the data written on scraps of
paper.
