Druanna (Drew Ann) "Druann" DURHAM was born about 1833 in Pickens District,
SC.1 She died on 15 Jan
1900 in Walhalla, Oconee County, SC. She died Monday at her home
at the age of 66 years old per her obituary.
She was buried on 17 Jan 1900 in Walhalla 1st Baptist Church Cemetery, Walhalla,
Oconee County, SC. She was buried on Wednesday afternoon per her
obituary. She has an unmarked grave.
I have an abstract from the paper where Isaac's daughter Druann was bring a
complaint aganist the estate of Farney (I believe this should be Fannie).

DODSON were married. George Washington "George"
DODSON was born about 1833. He died on 18 Nov 1863 in Marietta,
GA. He died in the Academy Hospital in Marietta, GA during the Civil
War at the age of 30 years old. He was in the SC 2nd Rifles Company B - CSA-Moore's
Rifles.

George Washington Dodson is buried at Marietta in the Confederate cemetery.

In the Pickens County Probate Judges office is his will.
On October 24th he wrote his will "on the eav (eve) of returning to the
army..." He states that he had no thoughts that he would return. (The will
and pension application are posted on the Pickens GenWeb site.)
He died of wounds from the Civil War. George enlisted 19 MAR 1862 in Pickens
District, SC by J. E. Hagood, CC. He appears on a list of casualities 27 JUN
and 30 JUN 1862 as wounded in the hand (in the seven days battles before Richmond,
VA). He was on the Muster Roll in the SC - 2nd Rifles, Company B of Moore's Rifles
- CSA. He was on the Muster Roll for JAN and FEB 1863 and listed as deceased,
18 NOV 1863 when he died at Academy Hospital in Marietta, GA.
