Sarah Edes Smith-born about 1854, died April 8, 1926. She was still married. This Sarah died in Pendleton, Anderson Co., SC. Death Certificate No. 5917. Buried at Fant's Grove Church in Pendleton! Informant was J.G. Smith. I am assuming that was her husband since he was supposedly still living. Perhaps there is an obit for her in the Greenville News?
