9. David Rufus DURHAM was born on 4 May 1838 in Humphreys County, Tennessee.^{6,7,8,9,16,17,18,19} He died on 10 Dec 1923 in Waverly, Humphreys County, Tennessee.^18,19 Buried in Durham Cemetery. (David) Rufus Durham, age 22, is listed with his parents - Wm and Louisa Durham, in the 1860 Census for Humphreys County, Tennessee - District 5. This Census was taken on the 16th Day of June, 1860. There is also a "D. R. Durham", age 23, married to "Eliza" listed in the 1860 Census for Humphreys - District 11. This Census was taken on 18th day of June, 1860. (This "David Rufus Durham and D. R. Durham may or may not be the same people. I have placed them as the same person until more evidence could be found.)
