1800 Orange County, NC Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions: An account of the Estate of Nathaniel Robertson, Dec'd. There were 319 articles sold at the huge estate sale, with there being many buyers. Prominent among them were two Robertsons, Nathaniel and Thomas. Other buyers included Thomas Cate, Richard Cate, Solomon Cate, Robert Cate and Thomas Basket. The Durham buyers were Lycias Durham, Mark Durham, John Durham and William Durham. Lysias/Lucius Durham purchased the following: 1 saw @ 12sh, 6p; a half bushel @ no price listed; 1 pail @ 7sh, 1p; 1 pail @ 2sh, 6p; one clevis @ 2sh; and one hone @ 1 Pound.
