1800 Orange County, NC Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions: An account of the
Estate of Nathaniel Robertson, Dec'd. There were 319 articles sold at the huge
estate sale, with there being many buyers. Prominent among them were two Robertsons,
Nathaniel and Thomas. Other buyers included Thomas Cate, Richard Cate, Solomon
Cate, Robert Cate and Thomas Basket. The Durham buyers were Lycias Durham, Mark
Durham, John Durham and William Durham. Lysias/Lucius Durham purchased the following:
1 saw @ 12sh, 6p; a half bushel @ no price listed; 1 pail @ 7sh, 1p; 1 pail @
2sh, 6p; one clevis @ 2sh; and one hone @ 1 Pound. The forgoing account of Sales
of Nathaniel Robertson, Dec'd was returned by Thomas Robertson, Admr. on Oath

of same, 250 acres in forks of Tyrells Creek, on North West Prong of creek, Lysias

Branch down same to North East Prong of Tyrells Creek down creek to fork below

meeting of the Sandy Creek Baptist Association, at Brush Creek Meeting House

meeting of the Sandy Creek Baptist Association, at Lick Creek Meeting House in

Oct 1831 - The Antioch Baptist Church was represented at the annual meeting of
the Sandy Creek Baptist Association, at Antioch Meeting House in Orange County,
by Lysias Durham, Thomas Workman and D. Robertson. At the same meeting, Cane
Creek Meeting House in Orange County was represented by Thomas Workman's father,

25 Oct 1836 - William Durham, Junr., deeded to Lindsay Edwards, Isaac Durham,
John Durham, and to their successors in profession or in office in the Baptist
Church called Antioch, 32 1/2 acres for 60 dollars, on the Hillsboro road, Ray's
line, Licias Durham's line. Witnesses: A.K. Clements and Thomas D. Faucette.

legatees his daughters Tabitha Gear, Mary Jane Durham (a minor), and Susannah
L. Durham; his sons David, Dudley and Tarleton Durham. Executors: friends Wilson
