Lelia Durham (Thomas) was my paternal grandmother. She was born 22 Feb 1997 and
married June 1920 to Halcott Bratton Thomas of Columbia, South Carolina. She
was at one time, the secretary to Cameron Morrison, who later became the Governor
of North Carolina.
She and Halcott moved (right after their wedding) to Hollywood, CA where they
raised two boys, Halcott B. Thomas Jr. (1921) and William Durham Thomas (1924).
Hal stayed in Los Angeles area (is still there) married and had 4 kids. Bill
moved back to Charlotte when he was 22 or so. He married Nancy Barnhardt of Charlotte
and had 4 kids.
Ethel Durham married Vernon Goode, a Charlotte developer and they had 4 kids.
Webb Durham lived to be 103 years old. I have a newspaper clipping about his
life from the Charlotte paper.

Bratton THOMAS (son of Dr. Oscar E. THOMAS and Margarette H.) was born in
Sep 1891 in Columbia, South Carolina.345,346,347,348 Halcott B. Thomas, age 28
and "single" is listed as "nephew" in the household of Frank
E. Sims and wife S. Harris in the 1920 Census for Richland County, South Carolina
(Columbia Ward 1 - District 80). Lelia DURHAM and Halcott Bratton THOMAS had
