I am a great granddaughter of Jacob Robert Moose and Mary M. Durham Moose. I have most of their personal property, including pictures, diplomas, bibles, letters, obits, books, and other things. My grandmother Mary Geraldine Moose was their oldest daughter. My mother was her only child.

I was recently contacted by a Rev Damien Sohn from Springfield Va who is researching Rev and Mrs Moose and their time as missionaries in Korea. He has asked me for copies of diplomas, pictures and letters. He wants to publish his findings.

I see you have information from a Jackson H. Day. He said the Chongkyo Methodist Church of Seoul Korea is seeking to find descendants. I don't have any contact information for Jackson H. Day. I don't know if he knows anything about Rev Sohn's research.

I don't mind sharing this family information, but I want to know if the Korean Church and Rev Sohn are working toward the same goal. I can tell by the writting that English is a second language for Rev Sohn. Do you have contact information for Jackson H. Day? He may be able to shed some light on this.

Jacob Robert Moose married Mary M. Durham on June 21, 1893 at Centenary Place Methodist Church, Greensboro, NC by Dr. John R. Brooks and W.M. Bagby.

she married Mark Earl Goodman on 6 Dec 1917 in Albuquerque, NM
They had one daughter Mary Earl Goodman b: 29 May 1920 Albuquerque, NM
d: 28 December 2005 in Rio Rancho, NM

First husband of Mary Geraldine, Mark Earl Goodman passed away in 1924. Remarried on 22 Apr 1930 to Harry Ostrowski in Toledo, Ohio. No children Nancy Elizabeth Moose b: 17 Jul, 1901 Chemulpo, (Incheon), Korea

She married John Francis Chaney 12 Jun 1925 in Chicago, IL
They had two children, John and Helen
Edith Key Moose b: 17 Mar 1904 in Seoul, Korea

Robert Morrison Moose b: 24 Dec 1909 Choon Chun, Korea
He married Mary Catherine Horney on 3 Aug 1934 in Cheraw, SC
They had one daughter, Catherine (Kitty)

I gathered all this information from the family bible and newspaper releases. Any way that you can help me will be appreciated.
