Gentry, age 84 (female), is listed in the household of Sarah Durham (widow of Elisha Durham), age 57, b. Kentucky. There are also two male children living with Sarah Durham - David Durham, age 18; and James Durham, age 17;

In the 1870 Census for Rockcastle County, Kentucky (District 5), Thomas Gentry, age 56 and Elizabeth, age 37, are listed in the household of James Durham and wife Louisa.

Elisha DURHAM and Sarah E. "Barnes or" GENTRY were married before 1840 in Kentucky. Sarah E. "Barnes or" GENTRY¹⁰ was born about 1802 in Kentucky.^7,9 In the 1860 Census for Rockcastle County, Kentucky - Gistine Gentry, age 84, is living in the household of Sarah Durham, age 57, listed as "widow". I am assuming Gistine Gentry is probably Sarah's mother. Elisha DURHAM and Sarah E. "Barnes or" GENTRY had the following children:
