Obituary of: Albert J. Durham, 66, Belton Pioneer, Dies
Special to The News.

BELTON, Texas, Jan. 5.-Albert J. Durham, 66, died suddenly at his home here Friday night, after having been at his place of business throughout the day. He had been slightly ill for the last ten days, but was not thought to be in serious condition.

He was born in McMinnville, Tenn.; came to Belton in 1883 and resided here continuously since. Mr. Durham was engaged in the grain and produce business.
Survivors include his wife, five children, Mrs. A. J. Brittain of Houston, Mrs. Harold K. Craig of Harrisburg, Pa; A. J. Durham Jr. of Coleman, Mrs. D. T. Killough of College Station, Mrs. Frank E. Bradley of Holland and Marcus V. Durham of Coleman; a brother, George D. Durham of Belton, and two sisters, Mrs. J. H. Killingsworth of Prairie Dell and Mrs. J. H. Higgins of Stanton.

Funeral services will be held here Sunday afternoon, with burial in North Belton Cemetery.
