Durham as "22 October 1877". Both items list the name of "Lyde Baylor Durham", his wife. I went with the WWI Registration Card since John himself is giving the information.

Durham marrying Lyde Whitt on 28 Sept 1904 in Tazewell County, Virginia. Parents are listed as "R. B" (father) and "Elizabeth" (mother).
