PILOT MOUNTAIN, NC ~ Mrs. Lelia Durham Wilson, 90, of Carson Road died Monday morning, May 20, 2002, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born May 22, 1911, in Stokes County to the late Jim and Margaret Smith Durham. Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and a member of Rock House Primitive Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Wilson, in 1972. Surviving are a daughter, Frances Wilson Hauser of Winston-Salem; a son, James Howard Wilson of Pilot Mountain; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nolia Boyles of Pilot Mountain and Lillie Keaton of Westfield; and a brother, Moses Durham of Dobson.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at Howell Funeral Home Chapel, Pilot Mountain, with Elder J.H. Keaton officiating. Interment will follow at Pilot Mountain City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
