Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999 at Browers Wesleyan Memorial Church,
Asheboro, conducted by the Rev. Rodney Purcell. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial
Mr. Durham was born in Guilford County and graduated from Alamance High School
in Guilford County. He attended Browers Wesleyan Memorial Church and was retired
from Steadman Manufacturing.
Survivors are daughter, Geraldine Garner of Asheboro; son, Ron Durham of Asheboro;
seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue Chrismon and Mary
Cross, both of Greensboro; brother, Paul Durham of Greensboro.
The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, 1999 at the Pugh Funeral
Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro.

ASHEBORO - Mrs. Golden M. Brower Durham, 77, of Route 7 (Mack Road) died Monday
at Randolph Hospital.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Browers Wesleyan Church, of which she
was a charter member. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
A native of Randolph County, she as a retired employee of Richard Grey Hosiery.
Surviving are husband, Harry ``Snooks'' Durham; son, Ron Durham of Asheboro;
daughter, Geraldene Garner of Asheboro; sisters, Lottie Hollingsworth of Sophia,
Ruth Cothran, Ola Mae Snow, both of Asheboro, Edith Richardson of Maggie Valley;
brothers, Melvin Brower, Mitch Brower, James Brower, all of Asheboro; seven grandchildren.
The family will be at Pugh Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today.
