Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2003, at Alamance Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Paul was a member of Alamance Presbyterian Church. He was retired from Odell Hardware. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during WW II. He was a POW during the Battle of the Bulge. Paul played baseball for the minor league in Greensboro. He loved to golf, garden and watch the Atlanta Braves. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Lee Redman Durham, step granddaughter, Vickie Lee Tharp, five brothers and one sister.

Mr. Durham is survived by his sons; Paul "Kit" Durham, Jr., and wife, Lokeel F., of Greensboro, Terry Lee Durham of Enfield, Mike Durham and wife, Teresa, of Thomasville; sister, Fannie Sue Chrismon of Greensboro; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hanes- Lineberry Funeral Home N. Elm St. Memorial contributions may be made to Alamance Presbyterian Church, 4000 Presbyterian Rd., Greensboro, N.C. 27406.
