Listed as "Al H. Durham" in the 1920 Census for Sumner County, Tennessee. World War I Registration Card shows his name as "Allen J. Durham". The 1900 Census for Sumner County, Tennessee shows him listed as "Alfred Durham".

In the 1920 Census for Sumner County, Tennessee (Civil District 14 - District 129), Harriet Hanna, age 79 and "widowed" is listed as "mother-in-law" in the household of Al H. Durham and wife Isa (Isabel).

In the 1930 Census for Sumner County, Tennessee (Gallatin - District 3), Isabel Durham, age 48 and "widowed" is listed as head of household with children - Velma, age 15, and E. Virginia, age 9.
