Promoted to FULL SERGEANT on 15 January 1863, but "reduced to ranks" to FULL PRIVATE on 1 May 1863. Wounded on 03 May 1863 at Chancellorsville, VA. Listed as POW on 25 March 1865 at Fort Stedman, VA. Confined on 27 March 1865 at Point Lookout, MD (Estimated day). Oath Allegiance and released on 26 June 1865 at Point Lookout, MD.
