1. Thomas Presley "T. P." DURHAM was born about 1825 in North Carolina.1,2,3,4 Currently I am placing Thomas Presley Durham as a brother of James Marion Durham. So far I have not found a connection other than both Thomas Presley Durham and James Marion Durham seem to raise their families in Weakley County, Tennessee. More research is needed.

In the 1880 Census for Weakley County, Tennessee (Sharon Station - District 171), Robert Cole, age 11, Elvira Cole, age 9, and Kate Cole, age 6, are all listed as "grand-children" in the household of Presley Durham and wife Elvira. There is also a "niece" named "Mary Waggoner", age 20 and "single" listed with this family. There is also a Mary Waggoner, age 35, is also listed in the 1870 census for Weakley County, Tennessee listed as "domestic servant".
