Jesse W. Durham, b. abt 1839, was my 3GGrandmother's brother. His siblings are: Willis Wines (1832-1896), W.B. (1833-1898), Ann Eliza (Annie)my 3GGrandmother (1837-1870), John B. (1840-1899), Mary C. (Polly)(b. abt 1843), Lucy F. (b. abt 1844), and Sarah J. (b. abt 1846).

Their parents were John DURHAM and Sarah (Sally) WINES (b. abt 1805 in VA). John is listed in the KY Land Grants as receiving 50 acres in Hart Co., KY according to the survey date 8 Mar 1821 on the Green River watercourse.

Barren Co., KY marriage records list Sally WINES marriage bond date to John DURHAM as 14 Mar 1831 with James WINES being the surety. They were married 15 Mar 1831 by Rev. Cornelius Deweese.

Sally DURHAM is listed as the head of the household on the 1850 Barren Co., KY census with Ann and the younger children listed.
