Wesley and Martha Durham family can be found in the 1860 Grayson County, Virginia census. They added one new son to their family. This son, Joseph P. Durham, was born about 1852 in North Carolina. Joseph moved with his sister Martha E. Durham and her husband to Cherokee County, Kansas for the 1870 census but have found no further information on him. The other sister Sarah moved to Lee County, Virginia where she married her second husband.
