B.F. Durham Passes Away

Benjamin F. Durham, highly respected Hanover township resident, passed away at his home on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. of influenza a the age of 49 years, 2 months and 28 days.

He was born in Richmond, Ky., January 16, 1876, but had been a resident of Butler county for many years. He was the son of the late Benjamin and Lydia Williams Durham. Mr. Durham enjoyed the love and respect of hundreds of Butler county residents. he was a member of Harmony lodge, I.O.O.F.

He leaves to mourn his loss, the bereaved widow, Mrs. Effie Roberts Durham, one son, John age 14, one daughter, Marjorie, age 9, one sister, Mrs. William Hatfield of Berea, Ky., four brothers, William, of Germantown, James of Hamilton and Nathan and Green, of Richmond.

Funeral services will be held at the residence on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Rev Work of Oxford, officiating. Interment will be in the New London cemetery.
