But the Laurel County, Kentucky, World War I Registration card states he was born in 1875. Since Elijah David Durham is giving the information, I went with the WWI Registration card. He died Coronary Heart Disease on 21 Sep 1939 in Whitley County, Kentucky.^21,46 Buried at Rough Creek. Informant listed as "Mrs. David Durham".
