9. James DURHAM was born about 1810 in place unknown.⁵ He died before 1860 in Greene County, Georgia.⁶ It is not 100% proven that James Durham is the son of Samuel Durham. I just place him here until more proof can be found. James could also be a son of William Durham, also found in the early Greene County, Census.

James DURHAM and ???? (UNKNOWN) were married before 1830 in Georgia. James DURHAM and ???? (UNKNOWN) had the following children:

Mary DURHAM was born about 1831 in Georgia.5 NOTE: Considering the age of Mary Durham, age 19, in 1850, and the age of James and Rebecca's next child - Henry Durham, age 9, it is most likely that James Durham was married before, and Mary was a child of the 1st marriage. More research is needed.

James DURHAM and Rebecca NORRIS were married on 10 Aug 1837 in Greene County, Georgia.¹³ Rebecca NORRIS was born about 1815 in place unknown.^5,6,7 James DURHAM and Rebecca NORRIS had the following children:
