1. James Mathew DURHAM was born about 1810 in Tennessee.¹

James Mathew DURHAM and Cynthia LUSK were married. Cynthia LUSK was born about 1821 in Tennessee.^1,2,3,4,5 NOTE: Cynthia Durham appears in the 1850 Census for Dekalb County, Alabama (District 24), with 7 children - Martha Durham, age 4, is the youngest. Cynthia Durham appears to be a "widow" in this census, .... but she appears to have 2 more children in the 1860 - Andrew Durham, age 6 and Samantha P. Durham, age 2. And in the 1870 Census for Dekalb County, Alabama shows Cynthia with another child - Margaret Durham, age 10 (born in 1860). Some of these children could be children of Cynthia's daughters. More research is needed.

NOTE: Cynthia Durham is listed as "single" in the 1880 Census for Dekalb County, Alabama. Question is - Was Cynthia ever married?" More research is needed. James Mathew DURHAM and Cynthia LUSK had the following children:
