Talbot County, Georgia, S. W. Durham, age 40-50, is listed with no other males,
and 4 females - one is most likely "Mary W., b. 1802".
In the 1850 Census for Talbot County, Georgia (District 16), Sanders W. Durham,
age 52 and "married" to Mary W., age 48, are both listed in the household
of William Lockhart, age 19. (((Ancestry.com has him listed as "Landers
W. Dushen"))
In the 1860 Census for Talbot County, Georgia (Prattsburg), Sanders W. Durham,
age 62 is listed as a "Baptist Preacher and Planter". He is listed
with wife Mary W., are 58.
I list Sanders Walker Durham as the father of "Sanders W. Durham",
b. 1868 because of the similar names. Sanders W. Durham, b. 1868 is listed with
his mother "Nancy Durham" in the 1870 Census for Taylor County, Georgia.
The 1880 Census for Taylor County, shows this Nancy Durham as "Nancy Mitchell"
the daughter of W. J. F. (William) Mitchell. Sanders W. Durham, age 12 is listed
with Nancy Mithcell and listed as "grandson". More research is needed.

We have been furnished with the sad intelligence of the death of Mrs. N. S. Durham
(NANCY MITCHELL DURHAM), wife of Rev. S.W. Durham, deceased and daughter of Judge
W. J. F. Mitchell, the greater portion of whose life had been spent in Taylor
County, but for the past two or three years had resided at Sherman, Texas, where
her death occurred at 3 oclock a.m. on Friday last, after a painful illness
of about three weeks. Mrs. Durham was about 45 years of age, a lady of fine virtues
of head and heart won the love and admiration of all with whom she became associated.
She leaves many friends and relatives who will regret to learn of her death.
Rev. Sanders Walker DURHAM and Mary W. (UNKNOWN) were married before 1850.
Mary W. (UNKNOWN) was born about 1802 in Georgia.35 Rev. Sanders Walker DURHAM
and Nancy MITCHELL were married before 1868 in Georgia. Nancy
MITCHELL (daughter of William G. F. MITCHELL and Margaret (UNKNOWN)) was
born about 1844 in Georgia.37
She died on 21 Apr 1891 in Sherman, Grayson County, Texas. Rev.
Sanders Walker DURHAM and Nancy MITCHELL had the following children:
